The New York Intellectual Property Law Association’s amicus curiae brief filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Ericsson v. Samsung cited articles by Profs. Dicky TSANG and Jyh-An LEE

The New York Intellectual Property Law Association recently filed an amicus curiae  brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Ericsson v. Samsung, a high-profile case concerning standard-essential patents (SEPs) and fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) pledge. A major part of this amicus curiae was based on two papers written by Prof. Dicky TSANG and Prof. Jyh-An LEE:

The above paper co-authored by Professors Tsang and Lee was also recently cited by the defendants-appellee in another FRAND-encumbered SEPs case HTC v. Ericsson in its redacted brief submitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
