Students from the LLM in Energy and Environmental Law presented at International Conference in Bangkok

Four CUHK law students (LLM in Energy and Environmental Law and JD) presented papers at the International Conference on Carbon Markets and the Electricity Sector: Issues, Opportunities, and Priorities for East Asia in Bangkok.

The conference was jointly organized by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung RECAP, Chulalungkorn University, International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP), Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) and the Faculty of Law of the CUHK. The CUHK students, together with students of Chulalungkorn University, shared their research on the interaction of emissions trading and electricity regulation with representatives of major international energy organisations, national policymakers and energy law and policy professors from the EU, China, USA and Thailand.
