Prof. Robin Hui HUANG was invited to serve as an expert advisor for Shanghai Financial Court at an inaugural ceremony held on 30 October 2020. A total of seven expert advisors are appointed in the areas of law, economics and finance. Prof. Huang is the only one from outside Mainland China, and other expert advisors are from top Chinese universities such as Peking University, Renmin University, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University. Due to travel restrictions, Prof. Huang delivered an inaugural speech via ZOOM, discussing the issue of how to put into practice the principle of prioritizing securities civil compensatory litigation to protect investors.
