Prof. Robin Hui HUANG  has published an article on “The U.S.-China Audit Oversight Dispute: Causes, Solutions, and Implications for Hong Kong” in The International Lawyer, Volume 54, Number 1, 2021. The recent audit dispute between the U.S. and China have led to lawsuits, warnings, and new laws to potentially de-list all Chinese companies listed in the U.S.. This article analyses the various reasons behind the dispute, assess its implications and proposes a number of policy options.

The article is an outcome of Prof. Huang’s research project (Project Number: 2019.A4.056.19C) funded by the Public Policy Research Funding Scheme from the Policy Innovation and Co-ordination Office of The Government of the HKSAR.
