Digital technology has completely transformed finance in recent decades and a similar transformation is now beginning in the practice of law. The CUHK LAW’s Centre for Financial Regulation and Economic Development (CFRED) (founded 2010) turned toward the study of this phenomenon in 2017 and is now reinforcing its turn to technology.

Three past, present and future Executive Directors of CFRED – David Donald, Robin Huang and Jyh-An Lee – will speak on this evolution of law and finance through technology, presenting novel work on Fintech, Legaltech and bias in artificial intelligence.
