About the Seminar:
The seminar will be practice-oriented and will examine the crucial issue of interim relief pending adjudication on the merits in a complex international litigation. The speaker will use a series of examples taken from practice to illustrate the Hong Kong’s approach, with a comparative view on the UK.
The focus will be on freezing orders and other injunctions. The discussion will be centered around jurisdiction to issue such orders and its interface with jurisdiction on the merits of the claim, at the stage of both issuance of the interim measure and of recognition.
