Machine Lawyering Conference: Human Sovereignty and Machine Efficiency in the Law (online)​

The CUHK LAW’s project dedicated to legaltech and fintech, Machine Lawyering, held its second annual conference, “Human Sovereignty and Machine Efficiency in the Law,” on 14-16 January 2021. This fully remote conference presented over 50 papers from Asia, Australia, Europe and North America on fintech, legaltech, data protection, and ethics. The conference was led by five keynote speakers addressing financial and legal technology and the ethical and regulatory concerns arising in connection with their use. Video recordings of these keynote presentations will be made available through the conference website, and many of the other papers are being featured on the Machine Lawyering blog.
