The 11th IP Conference “Best Practices in Turbulent Times"

The 11th IP Conference “Best Practices in Turbulent Times” and the pre-conference workshop co-organized by CUHK Law, United States-China Intellectual Property Institute (USCIPI) and Asia Innovation and IP Society (AIIPS) was successfully held on 1-3 August 2018 at the CUHK Graduate Law Centre.

Speakers include policymakers, business leaders, prominent practitioners, and distinguished academics. CUHK Law professors Jyh-An Lee and Bryan Mercurio respectively spoke on IP and US-China trade war from WTO approach and Chinese law perspectives. This event attracted over 170 participants, who learned various aspects of IP, such as US-China relationship and IP, IP and the Greater Bay Area, IP and data economy, IP and entertainment industries, recent patent and trademark reforms, etc.
