The 10th IP Seminar: Intellectual Capital and Intangibles in an Innovation Century

The 10th IP Seminar “Intellectual Capital and Intangibles in an Innovation Century” and the pre-seminar workshop co-organized by CUHK Law, United States-China Intellectual Property Institute (USCIPI) and Asia Innovation and IP Society (AIIPS) was successfully held on 2-4 August 2018 at the CUHK Graduate Law Centre. Speakers include policymakers, business leaders, successful lawyers, and distinguished academics. CUHK Law professors Angela Daly, Jyh-An Lee, and Bryan Mercurio presented cutting-edge research projects on IP and 3D printing, artificial intelligence (AI), and pharmaceutical innovation. This event attracted over 170 participants, who learned various aspects of IP, such as patent filing strategy, blockchain and smart contract, brand protection, IP development in China, IP reform in Hong Kong, etc.
