Teaching & Learning Seminar- "5 Tricks to Keep Students Awake – A Fun Talk" by Prof. Fan Tingting

23 January, 2019

Are your students sleeping in class?
Are you getting tired after lecturing for 1 hour?
How to keep you and your students excited in class?
Professor Fan would like to share 5 tricks (“STOPS”— Simplicity, Timely, Open Discussions, Practice, and Stop) she uses in her class to engage her students as well as herself. In this talk, Professor Fan will share her teaching experience about how to use each trick inside and outside classroom. She will use her new course, “New Product Management”, designed for undergraduate students for illustration. These 5 tricks are easy to generalize, straightforward to implement, and fun to share.
