Prof. Steven GALLAGHER presented a paper on “The Underwater Cultural Heritage Protection Regime of Hong Kong” at the first Asian Regional Workshop on Underwater Cultural Heritage hosted by the Dalian Maritime University on 2 and 3 December 2021. The workshop invites government officials, policy-makers, practitioners, and academics from Asian countries and across the region to examine how their respective Asian nation is working towards the protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage through legislative, policy and practical responses, and the development of an Asian regional strategy for the protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
