Prof. Gregory GORDON’s research on International Criminal Law was featured in the Washington Post
Prof. Gregory GORDON’s piece “The Trial of Peter von Hagenbach: Reconciling History, Historiography and International Criminal Law”, which was published by Oxford University Press in 2013, was the central feature of an article in the Washington Post detailing what many consider to be the first international criminal prosecution – the 1474 trial of Peter von Hagenbach. The article used Prof. Gordon’s piece to analyse the trial and, in light of the trial, consider justice prospects for Russian leaders related to the invasion of Ukraine.
