Prof. Gregory GORDON has been named as a Fellow of the National Institute of Military Justice (NIMJ).

NIMJ is dedicated to the fair administration of justice in the armed forces and improved public understanding of military justice. Its founders include a United States Navy Rear Admiral and its Officers have served in prominent positions in the Judge Advocate General corps of the various branches of the United States military. NIMJ has been actively involved in military justice, filing amicus curiae briefs, publishing books on the rules of practice, suggesting changes to the military justice codes, sending observers to the military commissions at Guantanamo Bay, providing expert commentary to news media, and sponsoring conferences and events. The fellowship recognises Prof. Gordon’s reputation as a researcher in the field of the law of war.
