Prof. Chin Leng LIM was invited to speak at the forum held at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) on “The Belt and Road Initiative and Global Dispute Resolution” on 2 May 2019 in London. The event was co-organised by BIICL and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). Prof. Lim spoke on forms of contractual and treaty protection for Chinese projects and other investments abroad, gaps in such protection, and on the nature and manner of the resolution of recent disputes.
