Prof. Chin Leng LIM, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Law, attended the resumption of the 42nd Session of Working Group III of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), which was held in person and online in New York from 14 to 18 February 2022. He had previously also attended the 41st Session held in Vienna and online from 15 to 19 November 2021.
At the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, the Secretary General transmitted to the General Assembly the report of the Working Group on the Issue of Human Rights and Transnational Corporations, and Other Business Enterprises, entitled ‘Human Rights Compatible International Investment Agreements’ (UN Doc. A/76/238). The report cites the recently published second edition of Lim, Ho and Paparinskis, International Investment Law and Arbitration, 2d. ed. (Cambridge University Press, 2021).
