Prof. Bryan MERCURIO, Simon F.S. Li Professor of Law, was quoted in The Economist and South China Morning Post.

Prof. Mercurio spoke on the proposed waiver of intellectual property rights for treatments and vaccines relating to COVID-19 in a story about the incoming Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in the February 20th edition of The Economist . He also provided comments to the South China Morning Post relating to Hong Kong’s request for the establishment of a WTO dispute settlement panel against the United States for its ‘Made in China’ labelling requirements.
