The 16th Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot held on 31 March-7 April 2019 has just concluded after a busy week of competition amongst some 130 law schools from around the world.

The CUHK team won the David Hunter Award For Best Memorandum on Behalf of Claimant, placing first out of some 130 law schools for this memorandum. This is a significant achievement and the first time that the Vis moot team has won an award for the best memorandum.

The team also received an Honourable Mention (top 10%) For Best Memorandum on Behalf of Respondent which is a mark of distinction.
