CUHK Law students achieve Top Ten Memorial Ranking in the 10th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2018

Congratulations to Cherry Ma (JD student) and Michael Leung (LLB student) on their excellent performance in the 10th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, which was co-organised by the Centre for Human Rights and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, on 15-20 July 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The CUHK team was the only team in Hong Kong invited for the above Competition. Ranking 10th among 165 teams in the Memorial Rounds, the team won a place for the pre-final rounds held in the Palace of Nations in Geneva, alongside with 39 other teams from all 5 UN regions.  In the Oral Rounds, the team competed against teams from Brazil, Ukraine and Mainland China.
