CUHK LAW PhD student Songyin BO wins the Young Asian IP Scholar Award

Congratulations to CUHK LAW PhD student Ms Songyin BO on winning the Young Asian IP Scholar Award for her paper “The Convergence of Patent Infringement Dispute Resolution of E-Commerce Platforms in China and US” presented at the 5th Asian IP Works-In-Progress Conference 2020 co-held by the City University of Hong Kong School of Law and the Singapore Management University School of Law. Songyin is supervised by Prof. Jyh-An LEE and co-supervised by Prof. Stuart HARGREAVES.

CUHK LAW was well represented at the conference. In addition to Songyin’s article, our PhD student Ms Yangzi LI’s paper “Copyright Limitations and Exceptions Policy towards Text and Data Mining” and PCLL student Dr Alice Yuen-Ting WONG’s paper “Should Patent Practitioners be Allowed to Claim Inventorship When Acting for Clients?” were also selected for presentation in the conference through the competitive review process. All these three papers were completed under the supervision of Prof. Jyh-An LEE, who was the opening keynote speaker of this conference.
