Prof. Sandra MARCO COLINO spoke at the annual conference of the International Competition Network

Prof. Sandra MARCO COLINO was a speaker at the 2025 annual conference of the International Competition Network (ICN), which took place in Edinburgh on 7-9 May 2025. The session Prof. Marco Colino spoke on focused on the topic of collaborations between competition authorities and sector regulators on emerging areas. The moderator was Kouhei Yoshida (Japan Fair Trade Commission), and the co-panellists were Brian McHugh (Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Ireland), Ori Schwarz (OECD), Eduardo Neri González (National Competition Commission of Paraguay) and Kate Jones (Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum, UK). The ICN is a forum for cooperation between competition authorities from all over the world. Its mission is to “advocate the adoption of superior standards and procedures in competition policy around the world, formulate proposals for procedural and substantive convergence, and seek to facilitate effective international cooperation to the benefit of member agencies, consumers and economies worldwide.” Prof. Marco Colino is a Non-Governmental Advisor to the ICN, appointed by the Hong Kong Competition Commission. She was part of the Hong Kong delegation in the annual conference.
