CUHK LAW Team advanced to the quarterfinals and won advocacy excellence awards at the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot 2025

The Hebert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot was held at King’s College London on 13-14 June 2025. CUHK LAW was one of the 12 teams to qualify for the oral round (out of almost 50 contenders in the written round). They reached the quarterfinals, with Theodore LEUNG winning the award for best advocate of the entire competition and Todd TSANG winning a certificate of achievement for his outstanding advocacy skills.

The CUHK LAW team consisted of Cyran CHEN (PCLL), Nicholas CHU (PCLL), Theodore LEUNG (PCLL) and Todd TSANG (LLB & JD). They were coached by Prof. Sandra MARCO COLINO and student coach Kylie CHONG (PCLL).
