Congratulations to the following four CUHK LAW professors on winning the competitive grants from the Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme (HSSPFS), the General Research Fund (GRF) and the Early Career Scheme (ECS) 2025-26 of the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong SAR.

• Prof. Jyh-An LEE received an HSSPFS grant of HK$999,995 for his project entitled “Non-Market Approach to Intellectual Property Law”.
• Prof. Michelle MIAO received a GRF grant of HK$842,700 for her project entitled “Righting Fatal Wrongs: How China Corrects Miscarriages of Justice in Capital Cases”.
• Prof. Normann WITZLEB received a GRF grant of HK$716,400 for his project entitled “Updating Hong Kong’s Data Privacy Regime for the Age of Data-intensive Technologies”.
• Prof. Agnes CHONG received an ECS grant of HK$428,000 for her project entitled “Inter-jurisdictional Cooperation on Water Preservation in the Greater Bay Area and Water Security for Hong Kong”.
