Prof. Ryan MITCHELL has been awarded a fellowship by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

The CFR-Hitachi International Affairs Fellowship in Japan is sponsored by Hitachi, Ltd., and is described as a “transformational program [that] enables mid-career professionals to carry out research on core geopolitical issues”. Prof. Mitchell has been offered appointment as a CFR-Hitachi International Affairs Fellow in Japan as part of the 2025-26 cohort.
