Prof. Robin Hui HUANG was invited to speak at the 2024 Lujiazui Forum
Prof. Robin Hui HUANG was invited to give a speech at the 2024 Lujiazui Forum (陸家嘴論壇), an international high-level platform for government officials, regulators, financial industry leaders and scholars to exchange views on important issues in the financial markets. The Forum was organised by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and were attended by leaders of China’s judiciary, including the Supreme People’s Court of China and the Shanghai High People’s Court, as well as financial regulators such as the People’s Bank of China, the National Financial Regulatory Administration, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
Prof. Huang’s speech, entitled “Opening up China’s Capital Market: Legal Safeguards and Challenges”, was based on the research outcomes of his project on “Cross-border Listings and Regulatory Responses: Chinese Experiences and International Implications” awarded by the RGC Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme 2022-2023.
