Prof. Eliza MIK presented at the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Contracting, which took place at the University of Vienna on 21-22 October 2024.

Prof. Mik’s presentation entitled “The Application of Contract Law Rules to AI in Contracting” addressed the difficulties resulting from an inconsistent use of technical terms as well as the broader question whether the principles of the common law of contract require a reformulation or adaptation to the changed manner contracts are formed and performed. The workshop brought together leading experts in the field, including representatives of UNCITRAL and the EU Commission.
