Prof. Eliza MIK spoke at the 11th Digital Money & Blockchain Forum “Digital assets, tokens and money – a new deal”, which took place on 5 & 6 June 2024 in Warsaw, Poland at the Lazarski University. The Forum, which brought together representatives from both industry and academia, focused on the practical implications of the recently enacted Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation as well as on the ongoing technological developments in the crypto-economy. Continuing the theme of crypto-regulation, Prof. Mik gave an extended presentation on the risks and benefits of smart contracts, from both a technical and a legal perspective.
