Teaching and Learning Seminar – ‘Technology Enhanced Learning: Challenges and Opportunities’

Teaching and Learning Seminar – ‘Technology Enhanced Learning: Challenges and Opportunities’

Higher Education, and all of us working in it, are forced to face up to the challenges of integrating technology into teaching and learning. We may also feel that technology-enhanced learning opens up opportunities to offer better support to student learning.

This seminar is an opportunity to spend some time thinking through the implications of digital tools for our own teaching and learning practices. We will draw on student interviews, survey data from teachers and interviews with Deans and Associate Deans (Teaching and Learning).

We will comment on what this research shows about the benefits and issues associated with greater use of technology and emerging teaching and learning practices that were revealed.

Above all, we hope that the seminar time will offer participants the chance to share ideas and experiences.
