Dr. Lewis Graham will present and discuss findings from his new monograph, Judicial Individuality on the UK Supreme Court. He will attempt to answer three questions: (i) whether it is possible to observe and ‘capture’ judicial attitudes on the UK Supreme Court, and if so, what methods ought to be adopted to do this; (ii) whether the judges on the Court approach human rights law differently; (iii) whether (and why) the Court has become more conservative over time.
