At the CUHK LAW Alumni Online Seminar of 15 April 2025, Ms Catherine Wong of Conyers and Ms Pinky Chan of Howse Williams, both our alumnae, gave detailed and comparative insights into the liquidation regimes of Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands.  The seminar began with a legislative overview of court-ordered winding up in these key jurisdictions. It then covered the mechanics of and legal considerations relating to creditors’ winding up, just and equitable winding up and voluntary winding up.
