CUHK LAW students participated in the Nuremberg Moot Court 2024
A team of CUHK LAW students participated in the Nuremberg Moot Court competition held from 24 to 27 July 2024 in Nuremberg, Germany. They comprised PCLL students LAI Cheuk Ming Issac and MA Lok Hang Jaclyn, and LLB student LAM Kung Yu Christie.
The Nuremberg Moot Court is an international moot court competition organised by International Nuremberg Principles Academy and the International Criminal Law Research Unit at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. The competition is a simulation of a fictitious case before the “International Criminal Court”. This year, including the team from CUHK LAW, 38 teams out of 144 teams from a total of 58 countries and jurisdictions were selected to advance to the oral round.
The team was supported by Mr. Harry Allman-Brown, Ms. Kinga Bieleninik, Prof. Stephen Hall, Ms. Chloe Lee, Ms. Ling Ling Li, Ms. Daphne Yuqing Liu, Ms. Marialejandra Moreno Mantilla, Dr. Wing So, Ms. Chloe Tung, Mr. Joshua Yeung, and Prof. Marten Zwanenburg; as well as their team coaches, Ms. Vanessa Man-Yi Wong and Mr. Michael Hoi-Ming Leung.
