PROF. PAUL MAHARG

Visiting Professor (honorary)

Paul Maharg is an international scholar in the field of legal education and regulation. He has extensive experience of the design, implementation and evaluation of experiential learning and online problem based learning. He was responsible for introducing these approaches at the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom and, more recently, at the Australian National University College of Law, and is designing similar environments and projects at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University where he is appointed Distinguished Professor of Practice – Legal Education.  He is also a part-time Professor of Law at Nottingham Trent University, and Honorary Professor, ANU College of Law.

At CUHK’s Faculty of Law he helped to set up the Faculty’s Simulated Client project, and is currently one of the project team members for the Online and Blended Problem Based Learning (PBL) Pilot Project funded by the CUHK’s Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grant for 2016-19.
