Prof. Normann WITZLEB<\/a> gave expert evidence to the Parliament of Victoria (Australia) for its <\/span>Inquiry into workplace surveillance<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/span>. The Economy and Infrastructure Committee of the Legislative Assembly invited Prof. Witzleb to appear as a witness and to address questions related to the need for specific workplace surveillance laws in Australia, the advantages and disadvantages of a specific regulator for workplace privacy and whether the EU General Data Protection Regulation can serve as a model. <\/span>The transcript of the proceedings is available <\/span>here<\/span><\/a><\/span>. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>
