Prof. Queenie LAI<\/a>, Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning), participated in Harvard Graduate School of Education Management Development Program for higher education managers in June 2023, held on Harvard\u2019s Cambridge, Massachusetts campus.<\/p>

The program brought together 120 Deans and Associate Deans of diverse background from the US and worldwide institutions to discuss challenges in navigating complex higher education landscapes. Participants and speakers shared experiences in navigating institutional hierarchy while staying true to their own personal and professional identities. Topics discussed included: reframing academic leadership; addressing inequities in higher education; cultivating an equity-minded practice; diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging; asset-based approach to education; leading in uncertain times: technical vs. adaptive challenges; enrollment strategies and trends; building belonging: recognition, recruitment and retention strategies.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
