However, these initiatives often result in adverse consequences for the environment and the rights of the very people they aim to support. While much attention is currently focused on climate finance in both academia and policymaking, the negative impacts of funded projects on local communities remain largely overlooked. Drawing from his book <em>Climate Funds and Sustainable Development. Who Pays in the End?<\/em>, Dr. Gonzalo Larrea will examine the root causes of the environmental and social impacts of global climate funds and highlight the necessary reforms to ensure that those intended to benefit from these interventions are not the ones bearing the costs of climate finance.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
