With abundant renewable energy potential and growing investor interest, the region is well-positioned for a rapid expansion of solar and wind power. While some countries are already making strides, there is vast untapped potential for further growth across the region. A new report by Agora Energiewende, NewClimate Institute and the Energy Research Institute (Thailand) identifies key market and regulatory opportunities to accelerate solar and wind power deployment in ASEAN\u2019s leading economies \u2013 outlining strategies to enhance investment certainty in renewables, unlock system flexibility, and phaseout coal power in a system-friendly way. This event will unpack the report\u2019s findings and discuss how changes to existing market designs would enable countries to accelerate renewable energy
