Professor Sandra Marco Colino spoke at the annual conference of the Mannheim Centre for Competition and Innovation (MaCCI), held in Mannheim, Germany, on 19–20 March 2026.

The keynote speakers were Cani Fernández Vicién (President of the Spanish National Authority for Markets and Competition) and Nobel Laureate Jean Tirole (Toulouse School of Economics).

Professor Marco Colino’s panel focused on innovation issues in antitrust analysis. The speakers were Max van Iersel (Tilburg University), Miłosz Malaga (Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu), Tjaša Petročnik (Tilburg Law School), Kalpana Tyagi (Maastricht University), and Selçukhan Ünekbaş (European University Institute). Professor Marco Colino presented her article “Boosting sustainable technology through the new EU competition policy”, published in the European Law Journal.
