Faculty Online Seminar – The LNG ‘Value Chain’ – overview of the LNG Legal Structure by Paul C. Deemer

What is LNG (liquefied natural gas) and how is it produced? What is LNG used for, and why is it important? How is an LNG project structured, and what contracts are necessary? These questions will be discussed in this lecture, which will provide an overview of the “LNG Value Chain” from the production of natural gas, through the conversion of the gas to LNG, transportation, regasification and delivery to market. The risks involved in an LNG project, and ways of managing those risks, will also be discussed.
