The Faculty of Law Master's Degree (2018-2019) Graduation Ceremony will be held on 9 November 2019, 3pm - 4:30pm in the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Graduates of PCLL will be invited to attend the above Ceremony.
Graduates are required to ascend the stage. Please confirm your intention to attend or not by way of online registration before Monday, 14 October 2019.

* You will receive admission ticket(s) and other details about the Ceremony by post. Please email us if you do not receive them by 3 November 2019. If you have any physical disability that requires special arrangements at any of the Ceremony, please send an email to inform us beforehand.
Online Registration (Master's Degree Graduation Ceremony)
Please register online to indicate whether you will or will not attend the Ceremony before Monday, 14 October 2019. Those failing to register on time will be regarded as NOT joining the Ceremony. If you wish to hand in late registration or update details of registration, please fill in the reply form and send it back to lawgraduation@cuhk.edu.hk as soon as possible.
Academic Dress (Including Gown Rental Information)
All PCLL graduates attending the Ceremony are required by the University to wear a black academic gown in the Ceremony and be presented to the Faculty Dean.
If you do not have a black academic gown, you may rent a gown or tailor-make one at your own tailors or from the following tailor with details shown below.
Victoria Uniform (維多利校服公司): Online gown registration at http://www.victoriauniform.com/?route=checkout/vreg, the Gown Reservation Code is
CUHK-PCLL19.
The rental (HK$125 for 10 days) and deposit (HK$300) is payable when the gown is rented. The extension fee is HK$125/7days and the extension period is counted 7 days inclusive. Payment should be made in cash only.

Proper Way of Putting on the Academic Gown.
Admission ticket(s) will be posted to you before early-November 2019. Please email us if you do not receive the ticket(s) by 3 November 2019. Each graduate will be issued one admission ticket for attending the Ceremony. In addition, graduates can obtain up to 2 guest tickets for their accompanying persons. Due to limited capacity of the venue, graduates may be given one guest ticket at the venue and another guest ticket at nearby lecture theatres for viewing live broadcast of the Ceremony.

FAQ
How long will the Master's Degree Graduation Ceremony last?
A: The Master's Degree Graduation Ceremony will last about 1 hour and 30 mins.
Will I be presented the certificate during the Ceremony?
A: No. Please refer to the email sent to you by the PCLL Programme Team regarding the collection arrangements.
What is the proper way to wear the Academic Gown?

May I attend next year's Ceremony if I can't attend the Ceremony this year?
A: No.
Due to limited capacity of the ceremonial venue, limited admission tickets for viewing live broadcast of the Ceremony at the nearby Lecture Theatres will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.
To obtain additional tickets, graduates have to fill in an application form and send to the Faculty by post before 14 October 2019.
When will the admission tickets be sent out?
A: Admission tickets will be sent by post before early-November 2019. Please email us if you do not receive the ticket(s) by 3 November 2019.
Can I bring children under 6 to the Ceremony?
A: Children under 6 should be accompanied by an adult and be seated in a nearby lecture theatre for viewing live broadcast of the ceremony.
What will be the language of the ceremonies?
A: The Master's Degree Graduation Ceremony will be conducted in English. No interpretation will be provided.
